Sports Injuries Happen, And When You Least Expect It

Anyone who is active, whether its on a basketball court or hiking up a mountain trail. Things happen, from a slip on the court floor trying to make a sharp cut to the inside corner of the fall line to taking a fall over a hidden root as you make your  way up a trail and end up twisting an ankle or falling on an outstretched arm.

That’s why we call these incidents accidents, they just happen.  The point is, just like the Boy Scout Motto of “Be Prepared” you need to be able to help yourself, especially if you happen to be by yourself or not able to have access to some ice to help reduce the swelling and inflammation an injury like this can cause

Now, thanks to a medically endorsed cold treatment that comes in an easy to carry package, the Physicool Ice Wrap, is portable and provides the same cold treatment therapy previously used by health care workers, and trainers. Which was plain ice.  But as you know ice, when applied to an injury, while it does the job of curbing swelling and inflammation, also has the tendency of melting and providing a wet mess no matter how well you wrap it.  And it also has a tendency of slipping off the injured area unless the patient stays immobile.

The Physicool Ice Wrap however stays in place. Each bandage is self-adhesive and will stay cold for 2-3 hours. The Physicool Ice Wrap is ideal for athletes that are on-the-go and want to get the benefits of taping with the cooling compression technology that Physicool offers. Without the need for refrigeration.  Physicool works by rapid evaporation, drawing heat out of an injury. Because the bandage is fastened to the injured limb, it provides consistent, ergonomic relief, quickly reducing swelling and pain while helping to speed up the healing and recovery time.

So, like the Boy Scouts, why not carry a package of the Physicool Bandage Wrap with you in your  bag as an insurance policy.  Like we started off in the beginning of this post, accidents can happen when you least expect them, be ready with a package of the Physicool Ice Wrap!
